Baseball Hood River Valley sweeps Hermiston 3-2 and 19-9 The Dalles splits with Pendleton, winning game one 4-1 but losing game two 15-8 Dufur splits with Heppner, winning the opener 11-10 and losing the nighcap 14-4 Sherman sweeps Weston-McEwen 9-6 and 10-4 LaCenter 8, Columbia 4   Softball Hood River Valley splits with Hermiston, losing game one 9-4 and winning game two 10-0 The Dalles splits with Pendleton, winning the opener 9-8 but losing the second game 15-3 LaSalle sweeps Goldendale 16-1 and 25-0 Columbia at LaCenter, postponed   Track and Field The Hood River Valley boys finished second to Redmond at the Summit Invitational in Bend.  Sebastian Barajas won the discus, Justin Crosswhite the 3,000 meters, and Parker Kennedy the 300 meter hurdles to help lead the Eagles.  The HRV girls finished 13^th, with Abby Kinoshita and the four by 100 meter relay team earning fifth place finishes.   The Dalles girls were ninth and the boys tenth at the Hermiston Kiwanis Invitational.  Avery Cardosi was second in the girls’ 400 meters, and Paul Clark third in the boys’ triple jump.   Horizon Christian’s boys finished third at the Portland Christian Invitational.  Jony Nelson won the 3,000 meters and Andrew Hung the 200 meters for the Hawks.  Paulina Finn won the high jump for the Horizon girls.   Columbia’s girls won the Bruin Invitational in White Salmon, while CHS finished second in the boys’ standings.  Alondra Casarez-Garcia and Stacia Bell won two events each for the Bruin girls, as CHS won 11 events.  Stevenson’s Addison Newell also won a pair of events.  Aidan Trummell and Riley Haner had first place finished for the Columbia boys.   Goldendale’s Brian Golding and South Wasco’s Ana Popchock won three events each at the Jeff Agar Invitational in Glenwood.   Boys Tennis Hood River Valley 6, Benson 2 At OES Duals:  HRV defeats North Marion 5-3, splits with Philomath 4-4 but loses in sets, and loses to four-time defending state champion Oregon Episcopal 8-0.   Girls Tennis Hood River Valley 5, Benson 3   Boys Lacrosse Hood River Valley 15, Nadzitsaga 3   Girls Lacrosse Oregon Episcopal 17, Hood River Valley 3
