AOC Vets Committee To Tour The Dalles

The Association of Oregon Counties Veterans Committee will take a tour of veterans’ facilities in The Dalles this Friday.  The Veterans Administration Community Based Outpatient Clinic, Oregon Veterans Home, new Fort Dalles Readiness Center, NORCOR, and Wasco County Veterans’ Services office will all be stops on the trip.  Wasco County Commissioner Rod Runyon will host the tour, and he says other counties want to see what Wasco County has put together.  Representatives of the Oregon Department of Veterans Affairs and the offices of Senators Ron Wyden and Jeff Merkley will also take part.
