Ageless Awards Presented

The 2024 Wasco County Ageless Awards will be presented Friday at the Mid-Columbia Senior Center in The Dalles.  The awards began in 2019 in conjunction with the statewide Age+ group.  MCSC Executive Director Rob Garrett says they take nominations from around Wasco County.  Garrett adds the awards also illustrate how seniors remain active and contributing members of the community.  This year’s honorees are Rose Denslinger, Jody Chastain, Pat Lucas, and Pastor George Clark.  The ceremony is at 2 p.m. Friday afternoon at Mid-Columbia Senior Center on 1112 West 9th in The Dalles.
