Parks Meeting Set For Hood River

A public meeting related to planning for Oregon state parks in the Columbia River Gorge is scheduled for Thursday in Hood River.  Park staff will present planning concepts for state parks in the Gorge and listen to public comment at the meetings.   Planning concepts will include strategies for park management units in the Gorge and specific strategies and site plans for the most significant park properties.   Proposals are available online at www.gorgeparksplan.com  The meeting will take place Thursday evening at 5:30 at the Hood River Fire Station.
