TD Chamber Readies For Shop At Home Campaign

The Dalles Area Chamber of Commerce is gearing up for its “Shop Local and Win” campaign to encourage patronizing local businesses during the holidays.  That campaign involves people turning in their receipts from making purchases from local retailers to be eligible for prize baskets.  Chamber CEO Lisa Farquharson says right now they are concentrating on seeking local businesses to help contribute to the prize packages.  Farquharson says last year they received over $355,000 in receipts during the campaign.  The “Shop Local and Win” campaign will start the day after Thanksgiving.
