Port of TD Nearing Completion Of Industrial Center

The Port of The Dalles is closing in on officially completing work on the Columbia Gorge Industrial Center.  Port Executive Director Andrea Klaas says the final walk through with contractors and City officials took place last week, and it appears everything is ready to go.  Klaas says one last water sample needs to come back to confirm the water is clean, and then the Port will turn over operation of the water and sewer lines and road maintenance to the City, officially completing the construction project.
