White Salmon-Bingen Cleanup Seeks Volunteers

The annual White Salmon-Bingen Community Cleanup will be Friday and Saturday, with the collection site at the Bingen Public Works location near the SDS Lumber scales and the Bingen Water Treatment Plant.  The Rotary Club of White Salmon-Bingen and Mt. Adams Chamber of Commerce sponsor the event, and they could still use some volunteers to help put it on.  Chamber Executive Director Tammara Tippel says volunteering for the clean-up is a good way to connect with the community.  To volunteer call 509-493-3630.  They are especially needed in the afternoons both Friday and Saturday.  The cleanup will be open on Friday and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
