Building Maintenance Planned For HR Schools Over Summer

Classes are out for summer, but that doesn’t mean there is no activity in school buildings.  Along with summer school classes, in the Hood River County School District it is time to get building maintenance done.  District Superintendent Bill Newton says their biggest project is at Cascade Locks Elementary School, where a boiler that went out this fall will be replaced by an HVAC unit.  Newton said there are a lot of other smaller projects to take place, but they are finished with projects that came from their latest bond measure a few years ago.
