Hood River Election Materials Available

Those who are interested in running for Mayor or City Council in Hood River during the upcoming November election can file their candidacy.  The City’s 2024 general election packet is available online at cityofhoodriver.gov on the City Council page, or by calling 541-387-5212.  The deadline to file for one of the positions up for election is Tuesday, August 27.  In addition, applications continue to be accepted to fill the Council vacancy left by the passing of Tim Counihan.  The deadline to file for that position is July 1, with the Council planning to conduct interviews for those looking to serve the two-and-a-half years remaining for that position’s term on July 22.
