Washington Class 2B Track and Field Championships

Two Goldendale distance runners earned placing finishes on the first day of the state meet in Yakima.  Sean Henrikson finished seventh in the boys’ 1600 meters, while Emma Meagher was seventh in the girls’ 1600.  The meet continues through Saturday.
