The White Salmon Valley School District will be implementing a standard response protocol for emergency situations this fall.  District Superintendent Rich Polkinghorn says the plan will use common language in all of the district’s buildings to respond to all kinds of emergencies, from weather events to threats to personal safety.  The premise involves five specific actions that can be performed during an incident with a word assigned to communicate the action…followed by directions for each action.
