Hood River Valley 9, Milwaukie 4: Hunter Duckwall, Trevor Jacobs, and Grady Williams all had two-run base hits in a seven-run fourth inning as the Eagles moved to within a game of a playoff spot in the Northwest Oregon Conference with two games to play.
The Dalles 2, Estacada 0: Sam Shaver struck out 18 while pitching a one-hitter as the Riverhawks finished the Tri-Valley Conference season tied for first with Crook County.

The Dalles 15, Estacada 2: Jeilane Stewart hit three home runs and drove in five as The Dalles finished an unbeaten Tri-Valley Conference season.
Track and Field
Hood River Valley earned seven girls and six boys state Class 5A meet entries at the Northwest Oregon Conference Championships at Centennial. HRV won four event titles: Jackson Bullock in the boys’ 800 meters, Micah Castro in the boys’ pole valut, Simone Tillman in the girls’ 400, and the girls 4 by 400 meter relay team of Sadie Baumann, Sutton LeFevre, Abby Kelly, and Tillman.
Alana Casady won the 1500 and 3000 meters while Madelyn Harrison won the 200 to lead The Dalles’ girls to a second place finish at the Tri-Valley Conference Championships in Gladstone. The Riverhawks’ Derek Goulart won the boys’ high jump. The Dalles’ girls grabbed nine entries in the Class 4A state meet, while the boys earned six.
Stevenson’s Hudson Holzauer and Tucker Wyninger, and Columbia’s Jessica Polkinghorn won two events apiece at the Trico League Championships at LaCenter
Trout Lake won the girls’ title and Condon the boys’ championship at the Big Sky Conference meet in Maupin. Trout Lake’s Cora Sharp won three events.
