Ballots Coming In To Election Offices

Ballot return is beginning to pick up for Oregon’s May 21 primary election.  Hood River County reports as of Thursday 8.71% of ballots had been returned, under the nearly 13 percent at the same point of the 2020 election but slightly ahead of the return rate of two years ago.  Wasco County’s turnout is currently at 7.47%, similar to numbers two years ago, but behind the 11.28% of the 2020 primary vote.  Both election offices are available to answer voter questions.  In Wasco County call 541-506-2530, and in Hood River County the number is 541-386-1442.
