Two Receive Minor Injuries In Highway 14 Accident

Two people received minor injuries in a two-vehicle accident on Highway 14 east of Lyle Wednesday morning.  According to the Washington State Patrol, an SUV was headed west on Highway 14 at milepost 77 at about 7 a.m. Wednesday when it a struck a rock in the roadway.  The SUV continued into the guardrail, and then struck an oncoming car head-on.  The WSP says the drivers of the two vehicles, a 60-year-old from Dallesport and a 59-year-old from The Dalles, received treatment for minor injuries.  Both vehicles were totaled.
