White Salmon Survey Uses Visuals To Get Opinions On Housing Options

The City of White Salmon is conducting a visual preference survey as they work on housing code changes in an effort to create more affordable options.  Mayor Marla Keethler says the survey is based on a “Quality In My Backyard” or “QUIMBY” approach, breaking away from technical code language to a more visual approach.  Keethler says the survey is intended to help inform housing code decisions that will be made in the upcoming year.  The survey is available at whitesalmonwa.gov.
