Big Sky Conference Volleyball Playoffs

Condon def. Dufur 3-2

Sherman def. Trout Lake-Klickitat-Glenwood 25-22, 25-16, 25-19:  Sherman and Condon advance to join South Wasco and Ione-Arlington in the semi-finals on Saturday in The Dalles.

 

Cross Country

Freshman Lilah Zimmerman’s first place finish led Columbia to the girls’ team title at the Trico League Championships at Vancouver Lake.  The Bruins held off Seton Catholic by taking places 11 to 14 behind Zimmerman.  Stevenson took third, led by freshman Daisy Jones with a fifth place finish.  In the boys’ race, Seton Catholic won while Columbia was third and Stevenson sixth.  Columbia’s August Lorincz was the top area finisher in eighth.
