The Dalles City Council once again discussed medical marijuana dispensaries and whether to consider a one-year moratorium on those facilities.  City Attorney Gene Parker said the League of Oregon Cities is still evaluating the options municipalities might have under the law approved by state legislators in 2013.  Mayor Steve Lawrence says he is leaning toward some kind of public forum on the subject.  Lawrence adds he is unsure what a moratorium would do, and that if an application for a dispensary does come forward the City will have to make a logical choice and consider what is being asked.
