Softball

Franklin 12, Hood River Valley 10, 8 innings:  The Lightning scored four runs in the bottom of the eighth inning to pull out the win.

Hood River Valley 24, Ida B. Wells 3:  Bryanna Alvarez homered and drove in seven runs while Grace Rowan also had a home run and had six RBI.

The Dalles 14, Cleveland 4:  Zoe LeBreton had four hits while Despina Seufaulemua had one of the Riverhawks’ three home runs and drove in four runs.

Nelson 9, The Dalles 5, 9 innings:  Nelson tallied four in the top of the ninth to win after the Riverhawks tied the game in both the seventh and eighth innings.
