Eighteen-Year-Old Man Found Dead On Hood River-White Salmon Bridge; No Foul Play Suspected

An 18-year-old Hood River man was pronounced deceased early Tuesday morning after he was found lying in the middle of Hood River-White Salmon Interstate Bridge.  According to the Hood River Police Department, a report of an unoccupied vehicle stopped on the bridge with no lights on was received at around 4 a.m.  When police arrived a short time later to check on the vehicle, the man was found lying on the bridge and was unresponsive.  Hood River Fire came to the scene to provide medical assistance, but the young man was pronounced deceased a short time later.  Police say they do not suspect foul play at this time.  The investigation is on-going.  Anyone with information on the matter is asked to contact the Hood River Police Department at 541-387-5256.
