Festival Of Trees Returns Friday

The Festival of Trees is back Friday night at The Dalles Civic Auditorium.  The auction of specially decorated trees benefits the Mid-Columbia Health Foundation.  Foundation director Amanda Evans says it makes a great kickoff to the holiday season.  Tickets are $20, and can be purchased at the door Friday evening at 6 p.m., with the auction beginning at 7 p.m.  It is a 21 and over event.  On Saturday, there will be a Community Day Open House to give the public as chance to view the trees before they are delivered to auction winners.  That will be from 9 a.m. to noon at the Civic.
