Washington High School Track and Field Championships at Eastern Washington University

Goldendale’s Alden Williams finished second in the Class 2B boys’ 1600 meters on first day of the three-day meet.  Williams ran 4:29.16, less than two-tenths of a second behind winner Zeke Crockett of Chewelah.  The Timberwolves’ Issac Call ran 11^th.  Meanwhile, Emma Olson of Goldendale finished 6^th in the Class 2B girls’ triple jump.

  In preliminaries, Columbia’s Hannah Polkinghorn was seventh in the Class 1A girls’ 100 meters to advance to the final.  The Bruins’ Calvin Andrews was tenth in the 1A boys’ 300 meter hurdles, while Ella Zimmerman was 10^th and Chanele Reyes 16^th in the girls; 300 meter hurdles.
