Election Filing

According to filings with the Wasco County Clerk’s Office, there are five candidates vying for two seats on the Wasco County Commission in the May primary. For postion 1, incumbent Scott Hege faces off against Nora Ferguson. In the Position 3 race, incumbent Rod Runyon is challenged by Chuck Langley and Bridget Bailey. It’s entirely different in Hood River County. According to the Hood River County Clerk’s Office, three incumbent Commissioners are running unopposed in May. County Chair Ron Rivers, District 1 Commissioner Karen Joplin and District 3 Commissioner Bob Benton have all filed for re-election. Election Day is May 20.
