Wasco County has updated and reopened its COVID-19 Emergency Business Grant program to support businesses impacted by the movement to the Extreme Risk Category on April 30. Funds were provided by the State of Oregon. Grants will be made based on the number of employees between 0 and 50, with award amounts ranging from $2,500 to $15,000. Small businesses with under 25 employees, over a year old and those most impacted will be prioritized for resources. Mid-Columbia Economic Development District is working with the County to administer these funds. Visit mcedd.org/bizgrants for additional details. Applications must be submitted by May 16th for consideration.
