Oregon Class 5-A Boys Soccer Quarterfinal
Hood River Valley 7, Mountain View 1:  Andres Baeza and Alex Guiterrez scored two goals each as the Eagles won their 16th straight game. Baeza scored his goals in the opening 12 minutes of the game, as the Eagles were never truly challenged in the contest.  HRV hosts Wilsonville, a 2-1 winner over Hillsboro, for a semi-final game Tuesday at 6 p.m. at Henderson Stadium.
Oregon Class 5-A Girls Soccer Quarterfinal
Putnam 2, Hood River Valley 0:  The top-ranked Kingsmen advanced with the shutout win.  HRV finishes the season with an 8-5-3 record.
Oregon Class 1-A Volleyball Championship
Country Christian def. Dufur 25-19, 25-18, 21-25, 25-15:  Miranda Halvorsen had 29 kills to lift Country Christian to the title.  Taylor Darden had 17 kills and Sydney Reed 26 assists to lead the Rangers, who had reached the final with wins on Friday over Trinity Lutheran and Crane.
Greater Columbia League Volleyball Tournament
Klickitat qualified for the Washington Class 1-B Tournament with wins over Trout Lake-Glenwood and Lyle-Wishram before falling to Sunnyside Christian in the district title match.  The Vandals will meet Pomeroy in the first round of the state tourney on Friday at 1:30 at the Yakima SunDome.
Oregon Class 1-A Football First Round
Dufur 48, North Douglas 0:  The Rangers will host Wallowa for a quarter-final game on Saturday at 1 p.m.
Sherman 52, Hosanna Christian 8:  The Huskies meet Lowell in the quarterfinals in Cottage Grove on Friday at 6 p.m.
Washington Class 1-A Cross Country Championships
Columbia finished 11th in the boys’ run, as Colin Howe paced the Bruins in 54th.  In the girls’ race, Rachel Luther was the top Columbia finisher in 63rd.
