Port of HR Increases Moorage & Hanger Rates

The Port of Hood River Commission approved six percent increases in marina moorage and airport t-hanger rates for 2020.  Port Executive Director Michael McElwee notes the Port has been on a path for a number of years to better-than-break even in both of those areas, with the intent to build funds for improvements at both facilities.  McElwee says in the case of the marina moorage, it has been seeing six percent increases for the last few years, and it looks like with this increase the area will be self-sufficient and funds are being reserved for eventual dock upgrades and other needs.
