Hood River Valley 65, Ridgeview 56: HRV scored 11 straight points in the third quarter to take the lead for good and maintain a share of first place in the Intermountain Conference. Carson Flores led Hood River with 23 points.
The Dalles 53, Redmond 44: Josh Nisbet scored 14 points and Jacob Hernandez 13 to help keep the Riverhawks tied for first in the Intermountain Conference with Hood River Valley.
Stevenson 78, Columbia 56: Isaac Hoidal scored 23 points and Jono Blackledge added 17 as the Bulldogs got contributions from throughout the lineup.

Hood River Valley’s took first place in the girls’ bracket at the Oregon Classic in Redmond. HRV defeated Bend 30-18 in the final for its sixth straight win at the tourney. That followed a narrow 24-23 win over Thurston in the semi-final and a 24-22 squeaker against Hillsboro in the quarterfinal. Elena Kroll and Grace Miller each went 6-0 for HRV. The Eagle boys won two out of seven matches at the Oregon Classic in Redmond. Chad Muenzer won all six of his matches at 138 pounds, all by fall.
The Dalles was seventh at the Tigard Invitational. J.R. Scott won the 195 pound title, while Marciano Carrera at 182 and Andrew Richman at 135 earned second place finishes.
Alpine Skiing
Hood River Valley took three of the top six places in a Mt. Hood League girls’ slalom at Mt. Hood Meadows. Erica Anderson won the race, with Marisa Rigert in third and Eva Jones in sixth. Petra Ervin of The Dalles was ninth. Hood River’s Chris McElwee won the boys’ slalom, ahead of three racers from Sandy. Louis Redcloud of The Dalles was eighth.
